Un Bien - Seattle

Got the classic Press sandwich with a Mexican coke, and I can't think of a better takeaway meal than that. The person taking orders noticed my dogs and made sure to engage them as well, and gave them some treats of their own. The outdoor seating was packed, so we took our food to go. First bite to eat out in Seattle was here at Un Bien. The woman who took our order was very nice! Then the food came out and we were dead focused on finishing it all! The pork truly is one of the best cooked meats I’ve ever had. The sandwich I had was absolutely amazing. Can’t say enough good things about this place!Food: 5/5

Don't let the line scare you, it moves really quickly. We stopped here for lunch during a quick trip from Portland to Seattle. We had the pork shoulder sandwich and the chicken thigh sandwich. We both said they were the best sandwiches we have had in a long long time. The meat is juicy, tender and so flavorful. I love the chunks of braised onions. The man at the window on Saturday was so nice and didn't make you feel rushed. We will definitely be back.

This was my first experience at this restaurant and my partner and I absolutely loved it! I can't remember the last time I enjoyed something so savory with every single bite. The sauces on the sandwich were delicious, and the meat was cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be returning. If you're new to the menu, I highly recommend the #7 with jalapeños!

Short review —This place is okay.Long review —This place is honestly not bad, just very average Cuban food. However for the Seattle market, with its lack of other Latin American food options, this often gets recommended very broadly.I’d say a US 2/5 and a Seattle 4.5/5.Now for the food —Pork and chicken were both well cooked, maybe just a bit under seasoned.The sandwiches can get a bit messy, but that is almost to be expected. Just needed a bit more flavor.Beans are made for those that enjoy a bit of sweet and savory, overall quite tasty.Atmosphere —Outside sitting, uses picnic tables and benches. Great spot during the summer.
