Romio's Lake City - Seattle

The food was fantastic. The server saw that I had mentioned my mom's 91st birthday in the reservation notes and brought her a dessert with a candle. It was a very considerate touch.

Great place to have a nice dinner! Food is amazing and worth going to again.

Service is extremely slow at Romio's Lake City (although servers were friendly). Only a few tables were occupied, so we are not sure why we waited so long. Each of us ordered a salad or soup, but the salad was not delivered to one of us when the others were served, and then we had to point it out to the server. The food did not taste like it was made on site the tomato sauce tasted like it was from a can. I doubt that we will return to Romio's on Lake City Way.

We were greeted and seated right away upon arrival. I asked about their wine list, it looked like they had a good number of them so I was interested in seeing the list, but had to ask for it as he kept trying to narrow down my choices. I noticed why they need to print some new wine lists, this one was not in good shape. I settled on a good wine and my date and I both had pasta dishes. You can't go wrong with cheese and carbs! We both left full and happy.
