Rogo's Restaurant - Seattle

This is our neighboring restaurant, which has new owners. they held a series of popular dresses and added some Indian dishes we love. service was very good, and it was fun to try some of the new elements on the menu. we will try other new dishes again.

Very good food. it is expensive, so I would suspect that I will go there to celebrate this special occasion. the service was impeccable. our server, brian was very friendly and offered suggestions for others to do while in charleston.

This restaurant has changed hands a few times over the past few years after being Szmania's for a long-time and was a fixture of Magnolia Village. Not a lot has changed with the restaurant itself or the menu other than the addition of some Indian dishes that were quite delicious. The biggest change, at least from my visit, was the service. The restaurant wasn't very busy but our food took almost minutes. Szmania's was known for their excellent service and combined with the food, justified the higher prices. Magnolia's Restaurant Lounge needs to shore this up if they want to survive long-term.

I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant anytime soon. The whole dining experience just felt off. The bread was stale, the Cobb salad was limp, and the cheese was tasteless. The butter chicken was decent, but the vegetables were overcooked and lacked flavor. The waitress was friendly, but the menus and check presenter looked old and dirty. Maybe we just came on a bad night, but with only four other tables occupied, the restaurant will need to step up their game in order to attract more customers.
