Rione XIII - Seattle

The waitress rejected my ID even though we were talking about one of my favorite Rione wines that I used to drink there a year ago lol. Makes no sense. There were “extra shadows” on it, whatever that means. After that happened, I also feel like we weren’t getting as much attention compared to the other tables, which then made our overall experience worse. Honestly, Rione was better before compared to now. And tbh, you’ll find better pizza/service at other restaurants in the area too…

Best time in Seattle and the atmosphere was all laughs and good vibes. We probably were an unorthodox crew with folks joining in haphazardly but the staff was very accommodating. We had a late arrival who swung through the window and the staff was really nice to give him napkins so he could sit comfortably on the window ledge (his choice, he declined the chair “fast get away” ? .TL;DR: If you want a good time hanging out with friends with good food. This place is the spot to be!!Been a long my time since I had a great laugh so appreciate the restaurants flexibility and fun staff!!

This place has such a special place in my heart!! One of the very first places I ate in Seattle. Vibes are always on point, music is great… AND THE FOOD!!! They have amazing classics cacio e pepe, bucatini amatriciana (with a kick! , but their new chef has introduced some great new dishes that blew me away. Most notably, the steak and the artisan salad. A must visit.

We had reservations but decided to sit at the bar. From the moment we walked in everyone was personable and friendly. The recommendations were spot on and the surprise gelato to top it off for a birthday celebration was much appreciated. Will definitely come back.
