I've also had their sweet and other salty pastries as well. Take a look at their menu, and whatever you're feeling, just order it! They all taste great! If you do go during an off-peak time, their bread might not be as hot...they are still good if you put it in an oven too!Pike Place parking is difficult and definitely coin flip, but try your luck in the alleys, otherwise, park a block or two away.
We stopped because we were drawn in by the aroma of the fresh pastries! The pastry case looked amazing! Decided to try the apple cinnamon bun!Talk about packing a punch of flavor! The apples were perfectly tender but with a bit of an Al dente bite (definitely not mushy) and had a beautifully cinnamon flavor. The dough itself was moist (not under cooked at all)!We wished we had gotten a few others to try!Location is next door to the Starbucks “first store” and across from the market! Great photo Ops all around!
Happy to see there are vegetarian options. The Impossible was my go-to every morning while we were in Seattle. So good with a cup of coffee highly recommend it even if you aren't vegetarian. My husband enjoyed it thoroughly.
Why does this place have such amazing reviews? We stood in a long line to see what the hype was about. We ordered the salmon piroshky and it was so darn bad. No seasoning. We also got the cheddar garlic roll, it had no salt, no taste. Two bites and it was all tossed in trash. I just can never recommend this place to anyone.?
Yum! So much better than I thought it would be. I first discovered this business via Facebook and had been trying to catch their city visits, but was unsure about what to order. I just happened to be in Seattle at the Pike Place market and had totally forgotten about them, until seeing their sign like a beacon!I waited in like for about 7 minutes, not bad at all. They have a little menu out so you can decide early, what you're getting. I wanted a sample of everything, but I just ordered four different pastries. I got the beef and cheese. I got the chocolate hazelnut. I got the rhubarb pastry, and lastly I got the apple cinnamon roll. They were all delicious! The bread was some of the best I've ever tasted. I didn't even warm everything up. I think my favorite was the beef and cheese, because I was starving on the road to another city and that was my lunch! Lunch! Very feeling, they lasted me all week till Friday. The apple cinnamon roll was not too sweet for breakfast and it was chalked full of apples! If you've been wanting to try their pastries, don't hesitate.
