Pecos Pit B-que - Seattle

This West Seattle BBQ spot is a gem. The parking lot can be tricky to access depending on which direction you're coming from, but it's worth the effort. My husband ordered brisket and pork with two sides, while I opted for the brisket loaded sweet potato. Both dishes were delicious, with the pork being a standout. We both enjoyed the medium sauce, although my husband found it to be on the spicier side. Overall, this place may not be the best BBQ spot in the world, but it's a solid choice. Just be prepared for a bit of a parking challenge depending on your approach.

I have been a customer at this restaurant for over 20 years. I love the food and the flavors are still great. However, the attention to detail sometimes matters. Recently, we had planned a Father's Day picnic on the beach and when we asked for utensils, they forgot to provide them. While this may not seem like a big deal for sandwiches, it does matter for side dishes. We ended up having to go back home to eat as we couldn't enjoy our meal without utensils. Additionally, when we finally unwrapped our food, we noticed that the portions seemed smaller than before. The sandwiches were not as generous as they used to be, with only two slices neatly placed on each one. Considering the price we paid, this was disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to consider trying other restaurants in the area, even though this place has always been my favorite in Seattle. Goodbye Pecos Pit.

I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. We stopped by on our way home to meet a friend and grab a bite to eat. We decided to dine in and found it to be quiet, allowing us to have a private conversation without disturbing other diners. The food was delicious and although the service was a bit slow, it was nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend this place.

Stoped in and got the sliced brisket horsey Q sandwich in the drive thru!Cant wait to go back for another maybe got the hot BBQ with it this time. Love, Love both locations and the meat is such great quality !

To be fair I have been going here regularly for a year and have enjoyed the food.I am not writing about the food however I am writing about the service. My last visit the young gal at the window charged me for a family sized serving when I had actually just ordered for one person (8 oz).When I pointed out the error she snapped at me and instead of apologizing claimed that 's what I had ordered on the intercom. When I finally got my order I was missing multiple items.Its unfortunate as it really left me feeling like I would not ever go back.
