Bubba's Seafood - Seadrift

I had the blackened red snapper with a potato and salad. I believe the snapper was frozen bought, def didn’t taste “off the boat fresh”. The cheese sauce was good on top, a little too thick for my liking but the taste was good. My husband had ‘grilled shrimp’ which came out not grilled, but sautéed in butter. The shrimp are tiny tiny tiny, def frozen bagged shrimp. We’ve had fresh gulf shrimp in PA and they are 3X the size fresh off the morning boat. Salads were good and fresh, dressing was good, potatoes good, beer was cold. We drove in from a fishing trip in Port O’Connor hoping for some FRESH seafood and this was not it. Very saddening that between these two towns, there are no great fresh seafood restaurants. Blackened, grilled or charbroiled FRESH seafood. Disappointing for two towns on the coast shores.

Our first time visiting in Seadrift, Texas and first time at this restaurant. Great service from the wait staff to the food. We're going back! The food was great except the gumbo it was thick and not Cajun style soupy. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bobbie Jo was an awesome waitress! Dungeoness crab was great and corn wasn’t over cooked or mushy. We had never had blue crab and Bobbie Jo showed my so. How to eat them! We’ve been to Bubbas many times when visiting in-laws a couple times a year but this visit was by far the best!

We had a delivery in Seadrift, and we got there a bit early. The person we were delivering told us about this spot. This was some good food and I'm glad this place was suggested. Mrs. Tamera (our waitress) took good care of us, and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. I wasn't planning on eating no catfish, but Mrs. Tamera said for me to try the catfish, and she was right it was really good. If you are ever in this area, stop in and try the catfish out.
