Contribuiți la feedbackBefore we returned to the hotel, made a drive-by for a quick Cut of ? pizza in the Scranton, Pennsylvania downtown across from the County Courthouse... Kit had a Plain Cut and I had a Cut of Pepperoni with Hot Honey. Depending on the location, like Pizza Joints elsewhere, sometimes it's a whole pie and then some will have the Pizza Trays under glass and a Cut will be sold. The slices here were good, but what I would call Football Style for a quick taste.
First time ordering here, we had a gift card for NY style pizza. It arrived hot and was absolutely delish! We will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you!
This is the closest to New York pizza in Scranton hands down amazing
DaVinci Pizza on the Square in downtown Scranton, Pennsylvania, is a small pizzeria that can handle big appetites. WIth new owners taking over within the past year, the eatery not only features specialty pizzas, but also hot and cold subs, wings, and pasta salad. I visited the place after work on a Friday afternoon, around 5:15. Although the tables in the back were empty, the staff was hard at work making pizzas for what appeared to be a constant flow of take-out customers. I heard DaVinci was making Detroit-style pizza earlier in the day, so I was hoping to get a few cuts of the square pizza. I was lucky enough to grab the three remaining cuts and hastened toward the back, where I can enjoy my meal in peace. The pan crust was thick, crisp, chewy and airy. The cheese is nice and gooey, with the tomato sauce sitting on top. The cuts were big, and although I could have stopped at two, I couldn’t resist the great taste and dived into the third. The eatery has approximately 10 tables in the back, with the front counter filled with different types of pizzas. One can then turn 180 degrees and grab a soft beverage while waiting. Being located next to the federal and county courthouses, as well as other downtown businesses, I wouldn’t be surprised if lunchtime is extremely busy. The staff is friendly and accommodating, with plenty of hustling and communication going on between them. DaVinci also has daily specials featured on their Facebook page. Give this place a try, and you’ll see why cookie-cutter, national chains can’t hold a torch to northeastern Pennsylvania’s pizzerias.
Probably the best white pizza I've ever had. You don't know me, but I know white pizza. This stuff SLAPS and for what it's worth I opted for these guys because some coworkers had normal pizza and said it was amazing.I wouldn't take the chance with anything else .Separately, the Uber eats driver who delivered it a block to the hotel for me was amazing. All in all, it's 10:40pm and I'm thriving.Thank you.
