Angelo's Pizza Viewmont - Scranton

I have personally worked there for 8 months the owner is very disrespectful and does not follow typical restaurant rules and requirements. In 2020 when covid was at its peak Angelo decided when one of his employees got covid directly from work to not do any of the necessary precautions such as shutting down for 2 weeks. This happened again at a later time same exact thing, he does not care for his employees health and well being but only if he’s getting that check at the end of the day. And just so you know if you ever get garlic knots, stromboli's, or slices of pizza there may be a chance it was from the day before. In fact every single day we pretty much wrap with Saran Wrap the majority of left overs. But the other day is what was the end of the line for me. Another employee my sister the other day wanted to express her feelings and say how she honestly didn’t want to work there after certain things. He proceeds to go literally crazy and say F you and your brother you both could leave as he gets in my sisters face yelling. That is not how things work and is sick. With actions come consequences and this is the line. You do not treat women alone or your employees like that. Another scenario months ago Angelo was about to get fined thousands of dollars for numerous things but tried to get past them and not own up to the issues with his business. The picture I attached is what something wrapped at the end of the night would look like when we put it into the freezer after sitting out 8 hours for it to get dried up and reheated the next day.

Staff was rude. I had asked if the two cups that were on the counter were for me and she gave me an attitude. I wasn't the only customer whom thought this as I was getting my beverage another woman next to me said the same thing. All 3 workers were miserable and had attitudes.... service was horrible. I did want a combo but they said that is only for 2 plain cheese slices which they had none. Do you think they offered for us to wait until the fresh plain came out. Nope! It came out as we are eating if I would of know a plain pie was being cooked I would have waited for it. Never will I spend my money here again

Love their sweet sauce pizza and calzones... Definitely recommend

For a fast stop has angelo it. there is a decent selection to choose with many pizza toppings and I was impressed by everything. Waiting in the line can be a bit of a challenge that can be busy at lunch and evening rush. it moves quite fast, so there is not so much to worry or be concerned. I ordered the top and Sicilian discs that tasted. to pick up as it is hot. the customer service is great as they moved it further. wish them success for this pizza business.

I love dinos in wilkes barre! it is very NY style, but angelo is better! it's the same family that both belong! I prefer the traditional cheese and a great sauce. the family likes the sweet one. both were very good! the crust is very fresh tender!
