The Docks - Scottsboro

Sorry I didn't get pictures of the entrees but we were cold and starved. The night was damp and cold. Unfortunately we wanted to enjoy the view, but our table was quite cold. The longer we were there the colder we got. The place is really designed to be on the water and more pleasant in better weather. We really wanted to stop in and try it on our way back from Charlotte. The food is amazing. I had the Pecan crusted Tilapia. My wife had the Tomato Basil Soup and Herb Chicken. She's really adventurous with her choices. It's a running gag within the family. This place has a view we all would want. Panoramic view of Lake Guntersville. You really have to try it. Looks like an old covered dock combined with a bar. Dive bar interior without the darkness, but frankly amazing food with great variety and outstanding service. Be sure to check it out.

First time there and all I can say is food, atmosphere, and service was great I'm a sucker for fried pickles and theirs were fantastic. Will definitely be back

This is a little hidden Gem of a place!! You have to know where you are going to find it! It's right on the beautiful tranquil water!! If you go at the right time you can eat and have a cold drink and catch the sunset!! The prices aren't cheap but the food is rather excellent! And the best part it's not a black tie and prom dress type of attire! Just come on in after work or getting off the boat and you will fit right in !! Nice cozy atmosphere!! Friendly bartenders and wait staff !!! Definitely a fun find and a great place to go to when you don't want to cook at home and need to have a little bit of social time!!! Highly recommend!!!

I am giving 3 stars due to poor service and slow food delivery. The food was good once we received it but it was over 45 mins of waiting. We also waited about 30 mins before a waitress ever acknowledged us in her station even though she walked around us 20 times. We finally had to stop her and request to place our order. We were told upon arrival that they were short staffed but had no idea our quick date night dinner would turn into a 3 hour ordeal. The staff was very nice but not fast. We will try to go back later to see if it's any better.

The shrimp and grits are fantastic, and the steaks are equally delicious. If you're a fan of ranch dressing, you'll find the ranch here to be exceptional.
