La Rumba Mexican Grill - Scott

This is the second time we've been to the restaurant, both times the food has been great. I got a #6, cheese enchiladas topped with pork (this is what I went back for). My husband got the La Hacienda special or sampler (forgot exact name). His came out on two plates! The portions are very generous. They also had 2 for $5 margaritas that are tasty and not too acidic. I got a virgin daiquiri that had whipped cream and a cherry on top. We have enough leftovers for at least one more meal, possibly two. We will be going back.

Upon my arrival, the restaurant was bustling with activity. I was welcomed with a warm smile and promptly seated. They served me salsa, chips, and my sweet tea, and I noticed that their salsa and chips were heartier than those at most Mexican restaurants. The more I ate, the more I craved! I found it challenging to choose between item #36 and item #38 but ultimately went with #38 topped with red sauce. It was delicious! You definitely won't leave hungry.

Absolutely loved this place. Great atmosphere, great staff, fabulous food.

On this visit I ordered a steak and chicken taco salad with extra cheese. It was so much meat I couldn't eat it in one sitting. I will definitely be going back.
