Very friendly service, the atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant, conversations can be conducted without disturbance through music or loud guests with normal volume. The menu offers something for every taste, good home cooking (e.g. calf liver with potatoes and roasted onions) is also represented as Mediterranean and steaks. I felt the number of dishes offered as positive. The ordered beverages (Aperol splash, mineral water, and a Hövels) were brought quickly, at the same time with a greeting of the kitchen, some slices of white bread with very spicy garlic cream. We chose tomato soup, dorade with small, roasted carrots and some kind of olive vegetables, as well as the already mentioned veal livers with roasted onions on potato stumps. We waited for the soup for a short quarter of an hour, it was fruity and refined with some cream. Between the soup and the main dish we were served a bowl of mixed salads with a slightly creamy dressing based on Balsamico, which we ate with great pleasure. The main course was served about 10 minutes later. The size of the portions was so dimensioned that one was saturated, but not full when one sat on his portion. Both the Dorade and the calf livers were cooked to the point, the Dorade with crispy skin and juicy meat, the calf livers on the outside were so fried that roasted matter came to fruition, inside tender but with light bite, both well seasoned. The onions to the liver were more punctured than roasted, which was right to me personally, but I lacked a few greedy apple slices for a tasteful rounding. On request, I learned from a restaurant staff that for a long time apple was served, but had been returned by the guests, which is why they decided to leave the apple leaflet. I felt it as hospitable that I got an explanation, often over guest appearances or requests will be gone without comment. In general, the hospitality of the local community shows itself in the frequency and type of demand of the employees, whether everything is for satisfaction, or one wishes something more often enough, but unobtrusive. Also, that we wanted to pay part of our bill with a bonus book voucher, was accepted with kind self-evidentness. In the end, we still have to report on the invoice: with just under 35 Euro plus 17.50 Euro voucher value we received a very good price for two people. I'm sure we haven't been to the place last time.
