Kinfork - Schaumburg

We're really disappointed. We used to love Kinfork, but it's been over a year since our last visit, and it seems like things have changed. On a Wednesday night, the restaurant was almost empty and appeared to be struggling. There was no one at the reception when we arrived, and the service was very slow. Our meal took an unusually long time to arrive and was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. We mentioned this to our waiter, who returned with a $10 voucher, but it felt odd that he didn't check in with us personally. We hope it was just a one-off experience, but it did give the impression that the restaurant is on the decline.

Had a great meal at Kinfork! We started our meal with the hush puppies. The jalapeño lime sauce was great, it gave the hush puppies a tangy savory taste. My sister had the BBQ brisket nachos which she enjoyed. For my main meal I had the party melt, which was amazing, I highly recommend it. The flavors of the cheese blended great with the juicy burger, making a rich taste in every bite. For my side I had the honey butter cornbread, which went well with my burger. If your in the area and need a bite to eat, I highly recommend dining here.

Food was amazing. Our waiter was horrible! No silverware, no napkins, had to repeat things multiple times. Other staff seemed nice though

We tried this restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is cool, the food was good, and I loved the moonshine cocktail I got. Only negative thing was that no one was up front when we walked in (on a Saturday night! so we had to stand around for awhile until someone showed up.

However, while we were eating, we noticed flies buzzing around our drinks, which was quite off-putting. Overall, the food was inconsistent; some dishes were good while others were served burning hot. It just wasn't a great experience, especially considering the restaurant wasn't even busy. I really hope they promote the waitress to manager because the current management was lacking. I won’t be returning.
