Ocean Shellfish - Scarborough

I visited this restaurant on a rainy Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious pot of fresh prawns and crayfish, salad, and lemon mayo sandwich that was made to order while I waited. The sandwich was filled with plenty of fresh ingredients and served on soft brown bread. The total cost for both items was only £7. It truly made my day and I will definitely be returning again in the future.

I believe the title of this review speaks for itself. The lobster sandwich was fantastic and made fresh, and surprisingly inexpensive compared to other places. I was even skeptical about whether it was real lobster before purchasing, as it seemed too good to be true. The homemade lemon mayonnaise was a nice touch. My only regret is not buying more than one sandwich. Outstanding quality, great price, and a pleasant surprise overall.

My sons and I shared a plate of fresh oysters, followed by lobster sandwiches, all for under £20. The food was absolutely amazing, and we are definitely planning to return tomorrow!

We stumbled upon this quaint little shellfish stall in Whitby. I had the lobster sandwich and my husband had a crab sandwich. Let me tell you,you will not find a better sandwich in Whitby. Both were freshly prepared while we watched,the lobster had homemade lemon mayonnaise on whole meal bread,the crab sandwich with salt,white pepper and vinegar. Excellent quality at excellent prices,see you again soon.

A great selection of cold sea food and shell fish. We had fantastic Oysters (3 for £4) and a seafood salad. Great to eat outdoors but beware of the Seagulls!
