The Mouth Cafe - SCAMANDER

The food was great for takeout and reasonably priced! I tried the calamari with fries, and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly, and the views in the area are wonderful. Just be careful of the seagulls! =P There’s also a park and community restroom right nearby.

I had the best burger of my life here (and I've tried quite a few). It was generously portioned, reasonably priced, and located in a fantastic spot. There was a slight wait, but that was completely understandable and expected. You can enjoy the views while waiting outside on the deck. The staff were all very friendly, especially the woman at the grocery section who was outstanding. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again. The fish and chips were also top-notch!

You can't judge a book by its cover, and that certainly applies to this little takeaway spot, which serves some of the best fish and chips around. I made a special trip to Scamander based on recommendations from friends, and I was not disappointed. The calamari here is among the best I've ever had. Just a heads-up: every meal is cooked to order, so we were informed we would need to wait nearly an hour. This was on a public holiday, and it's clear that the secret about this place has gotten out. However, the wait was completely worth it. I’ve been won over, and I will definitely return. If you're in the area, don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy some of the best fish and chips you’ll find in Tasmania.

Good food and friendly staff. Everything was priced well. I didn't have to wait to long for my food.

Had a lovely meal here on the 5th April 2022 with a friend ,very quick and polite service couldn't fault it. Keep up the great work
