Coffee Mug Scamander

Coffee Mug Scamander has the best toasties and Anzac biscuits plus great coffee. The customer service is amazing! We had the best tips for our trip and we visited twice during our two days stay in Scamander (so you can imagine how good it is). Definitely a highlight in our Tassie holidays.

We were on a bike ride from St Helens to Bicheno when we spotted the Coffee Mug container in the front yard of a house on the entrance to Scamander. We ordered two double shot, 3/4 lattes and got one with about 3/4 and the other with 1/2. The latter was very strong but both still tasted great, with good temperature and the right blend of milk and froth. Bit expensive but would certainly visit again if in the region.

I like pop up type coffee and food road stops ..this one has good pull over parking and good coffee nice jaffle toastys and much more friendly and reasonable priced you can sit down outside here or take away ..l like my capacino and this place is real good. Should be more like this 5 stars

Quaint little coffee place. Beautiful scenery and wonderful staff who were extremely helpful and kind. The kids loved it as there's a jetski out front they could pretend to ride. Great tasting coffee and snacks for very affordable prices. There's a public toilet over the road, an outdoor shower and Winklers Beach is also over the road. It has a water hole created each day from the tide going out, so shallow and safe for the kids. We will definitely come back here.
