Zhong Guo Long - Savonlinna

Typical Chinese restaurant as they can expect in Finland: huge menu with several herbal options and the occasional tofu where it is easy to get a vegan meal when they know what to look and ask. it is better than the average ordinary Chinese restaurant in Finland that the menu is both Finnish and English, the service is knowledgeable and friendly, they do not have to dig the menu as they can only look at the one side with vegetable options, and as a vegan I had at least 5 options without asking big changes. it is most likely the best and easiest option in savonlinna to have a vegan or vegetarian hot meal.

The restaurant used to be okay, but the food was a bit too salty. The interior was nice in 2018, earning it 4 stars. However, in 2022 they have made improvements to both the interior and the food quality. I highly recommend going there now to enjoy their lunch.
