We had dinner in the charming restaurant of Hotel Punkaharju with my husband on Thursday, March 9, 2023. As soon as we arrived in the lobby, the restaurant manager Max welcomed us with a happy smile. He took good care of us all evening. The service was professional, the meeting with the customer was natural and the conversation was comfortably relaxed. Max really knew the dishes he served, how they were prepared and knew how to recommend the right drinks. He said that he had been working in Hotel Punkaharju's restaurant for six years. Each portion of the four-course menu was pleasing to both the eye and the taste buds. Just when we were thinking about who conjures such delicacies in the kitchen, chef Antti Rämö came to present himself with our dessert dishes. He said that he has been working in Hotel Punkaharju's restaurant for six months. Antti is helped in the kitchen by only 17-year-old Matias. Many thanks once again to the whole trio for a lovely dinner in a beautiful setting.
