Harju Portti - Savonlinna

Surprisingly for such a remote location, harjun portti offers a floating six vegan options in its menu. most are converted by their omni counterparts, but judge by our two meal times, the quality has not at all suffer from it. not eating fine safe, but absolutely most options within a few hundred kilometers! the chef server told us that they really try to accentuate vegan among other special diets, so they can expect the menu for the foreseeable future to remain the same wise. updated by previous review on 2021 07 03

I tried 2 of their vegan options and both were delicious. unexpected! highly recommended!

A very basic, looking tank place right next to the beautiful sea saimaa. we went here to eat with mine in sat too lunch and was a bit nervous if there was something vegan on the menu and if it were to eat. what a tasty bite! I had caramelized since then with kartoffels and a fresh salat and my spouse took the sinceanburger with sweet kartoffel friries. even the child mayo was vegan. absolutely delicious eating here!

We ate at the restaurant for lunch and it was great ! Lunch buffet is quite cheap (14€ during the week) : several salad and warm meals choices. Coffee and fruit salad included. There was a few vegetarian and vegan options and everything was delicious, You can also order from the menu which also features vegan options (the vegan burger is totally approved). Service is great and it is ideally located in the heart of lake Saimaa. I strongly recommend !
