I work in a golf stream, I travel around the world and love ethnic food I wanted to give an attempt to give taste of India, I was there on the last Sunday and they were packed, we were group of four people that the host said it will wait 10 min, so he offered some Indian beer we enjoyed that on the outdoor terrace, I recommended lamb cops from the server, the best dish ever I in love with taste of India. I decide that every day I will visit Savannah taste of India. best service and decoration.
Great offerings!. An Indian friend suggested Taste of India as the better ofthe two Indian restaurants in The Hostess City. She was dead on! FIrst, the menu is rather large and offers many items you simply can not find at most Indian joints One page of breads alone, lots of breads. I stuck with the plain nann which was very thin and not heavy, a great vehicle to pickup your food. My main was the goat (bone in) and spinich. Fantastic! WHole cardamon seeds, great flavor, an the perfect portion. This is a must dine if you seek Indian food here.
My husband and I love Indians and this place was great! The food was authentic and fresh! I have the chicken tikki masala and was delicious! My husband got goatery and was very good. He was spicy, but not too hot. Service and atmosphere were wonderful! Large square
Food was great especially fish curry but service was terrible
A huge delicious bite from India!! My fiancé and I just had the pleasure to eat here and I have to say... I have a new favorite place to dine in Savannah! Our waiter was incredibly nice and informative. He directed me to a delicious coconut-based shrimp engraving with spinach and basmati rice. It was absolutely spectacular. My fiancée got the Tandori mix and quite much spent the whole meal mumbling... Oh, man, this is so good... between massive bites! When our food came out, the freshly baked Naan bread with soy butter, which was just divine! I am so incredibly full at the moment, I am sure that Naan and Basmati rice are both expanding at the same time as I do, but the food is so fresh and tasty and easy that I don't weigh at all. As dessert we decided to share a mango Lassi that was the perfect and most delicious way to finish a meal. I suggest this restaurant to everyone who enjoys high quality food, taste and service.
