Savannah Seafood Shack

What a delicious meal! I ordered the low country shrimp boil, and it was quite good—perfectly cooked but could have used a bit more seasoning. It had a nice spicy kick without being overwhelming (I wish I had asked for extra heat). The fish tacos were really tasty, but they took quite a long time to arrive. It's a charming little place!

We enjoyed it so much that we went back twice while visiting our son. It was my partner's first time trying a low country boil, which I was familiar with since I grew up in Alabama and New Orleans (we were visiting from Colorado). After the second visit, my partner decided he wasn't fond of the effort it took to eat the food, but it was definitely a memorable experience. I wish I could dine there every day, but it's quite a distance from Colorado. I really miss fresh seafood!

We were searching for a restaurant to dine at on a Saturday night that wasn’t overcrowded. After reading the positive reviews for this place, we decided to give it a try. Despite being somewhat busy, the line moved quickly. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and accommodating. My husband ordered the low country shrimp boil, and it was fantastic. I had the fried calamari with fries and a cup of clam chowder. Everything, except for the calamari, was incredibly fresh, and everything was served at a hot temperature, which we absolutely loved!

Googled ?good Savannah lunch spots? and found this gem. Absolutely incredible for an out of town couple looking for a southern seafood spot. Great menu and serving sizes, fast casual environment. Didn?t realize ownership also runs Savannah Smokehouse which we also highly recommend.

Got a chance to have lunch here and let me tell you it was delicious. The way they serve the food in plastic bag was genius idea but on the same side I feel it?s not safe to eat food in plastic bags. We had shrimp bowl and the lowcountry special with 2 beers and we paid around $60.
