Papa's -b-que Seafood - Savannah

The BBQ was great! I tried the chopped pork and sausage, which was Kielbasa served alongside butter beans and a delicious sweet potato casserole—the sweet potatoes were fantastic! The house-made sauce paired nicely with the pork, while the spicy sauce complemented the sausage well. However, I wasn't particularly impressed by the sweet sauce, but that’s just because I’m not a fan of sweet BBQ sauces in general.

Delicious food, excellent prices, and a family-friendly atmosphere. I ordered the ribs with a side of red rice, toast, and collard greens. The BBQ sauce was fantastic, especially the spicy BBQ sauce, which was my favorite. My son enjoyed a Schwein hamburger.

The Brisket sandwich was good. The Flounder I had was fair. The best I had was the green beans. I've eaten several times here, it's usually better. The grill has always been good?

It's worth mentioning that we've dined here several times before and have always been satisfied with our orders. Perhaps our experience was affected by the late hour (around 7:30-8:00), or maybe the cook was having an off day. Whatever the reason, we're feeling hesitant about returning.

I had the turkey sandwich with macaroni and cheese and my husband had the ribs. It was all delicious. I will definitely go back. The waiter was very friendly. I just wish it was closer to my house. Lol
