We brought my dog solo here, and before our waitress even came to our drinks, the hostess had a bowl of cold water and a MASSIVE cattle bone for my dog. The beer selection was on the spot, and the tacos were some of the best I ever had, and I live in Miami! A must if in Savannah!!
I came here specifically for the freshly roasted pig cattle and pulled pork fondue and it was not disappointed!! Earlier at East End Provisions, so glad to find it here. Pulled pork was tasteful and the topped greens were the perfect mix of spices, sweet, smoke and salt.
Really enjoyed the fresh food and so food my children who is rare! They broke the beans and rice. It was refreshing to see that they enjoy something different from chicken nuggets and pizza. The fried green tomatoes taco was pretty good.
While traveling through Savannah with a group of 10, we decided to try out a local grill, and it was an excellent choice! The service was generally good, although I did experience a delay with my mule cocktail, as it arrived after our food—despite it not being a busy time. However, the food itself was fantastic and met all our expectations. From the pulled pork and grilled chicken to the appetizers and tacos, everything was delicious! The collard greens were a standout, tasting just like they were made by a true Southern grandmother. If you're looking for something a bit different, definitely try the sweet potato salad. Just a heads-up: it might get a little warm inside. We were seated by the fans and felt comfortable, but if you tend to feel hot easily, you might prefer the bar area during the summer. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience!
This restaurant offers a fascinating blend of Southern BBQ and Mexican cuisine. I tried the single beef rib, and it was absolutely delightful—tender, juicy, and practically falling off the bone. The side dishes were also well-prepared; the collard greens were a classic Southern touch, while the mac and cheese had a unique southwestern spice twist. My companion ordered two tacos: the Baja and the brisket. Both were tasty, but she couldn't stop raving about the shrimp in the Baja taco.
