Gioia Caffetteria Gastronomia Vegana

What a fabulous cafe. Seriously delicious food and wine. The fresh juices and desserts were superb. The team are smiley and attentive. If in Sassari you should definitely make stop for lunch.

Came in and there was no menu since they make different dishes everyday fresh. They didn’t speak English but were so nice and helpful and used google translate to discribe the dishes. I had the most amazing lasagna and grilled vegetables. All vegan, all delicious! Super friendly staff!

It's extremely hard to find 100% vegan restaurants in Sardinia, most of the time you will have to order a veggie side dish, if you're lucky. This is why Gioia is not just the one if a kind but a little gem where you least expect it. We were a mixed group (vegans, omnivores and pescetarian) all had a full 3 course meal (including the amazing Gioia cake) and left full and happy. Gioia simply deserves all the praise for producing quality, genuine food that you can tell is made with love. Bravo!
