The Wildererer Stube is very nicely high on top of a hill and you have a great view over the Rhine plain. It is surrounded by mountains, forests and vines. In the summer it is particularly nice to enjoy the beautiful view on the terrace.The restaurant belongs to a wildlife farm, where the good steak and wild dishes come from.We had reserved for 5 o'clock and were agreed to the food.The service was extremely friendly and friendly and very attentive.The drinks were served quickly, even the food came in a good time frame. We had ordered various dishes: Hirschgulasch with Spätzle was very praised!, Cordon bleu with Pommes also very good! 3 different homemade dumplings (speck, cheese and spinach) with salad fantastic!, as well as the steak with pepper crust (medium) with late zle was good, but partly still very **** as the steak was a real ruin. The portions were more than sufficient, costly everything was within the framework. After further drinks and a dessert we wanted to order a Ramazotti. We were then told that the table was already reserved in other ways and were kindly expelled. Of course it's not possible! If you are informed that you can only stay until 19:30, that's okay. Then you can still decide to book elsewhere. But asking guests after 2.5 hours to go now, is the other thing. The service that had to tell us this fact was still very nice and has apologized 1000 times. We asked them to forward our immutation to the boss. Unfortunately, 5 stars have now become 3 stars (3.5 stars unfortunately cannot be forgiven). Conclusion: Ambience and food, as well as the friendliness of the service were top, however the (although nice) throwing out the evening was quite cloudy. Here is a small tip to the restaurant's direction: just let me know that a stay is only possible for a limited time, then everything is okay!
The restaurant is very nice on a hill with fantastic views over the Rhine plain towards Vogesen. The place is correspondingly well visited before all in the summer months... even under the week. A reservation in advance is recommended. The map contains the usual repertoire of regional and seasonal dishes, several steak and also wild dishes from their own wild game. We had reserved for 3 people on a Monday night. It would have been nice if we could have been sitting on the terrace, but the reservation was provided for the interior.Our food (scarving, deer goulash, pepper steak) was good and plentiful. However, our stay was clearly distorted by the rather poor service quality. The staff (total of 2 service staff) had tried, but for the large number of guests it was completely overwhelmed. The waiting times were correspondingly long. Orders were only possible after the staff were actively called. In the case of a court ordered the supplements were missing, the complaint was only possible with a considerable delay, since the operation was hardly acceptable. In the end we dispensed with the obligatory espresso. When I wanted to settle the common food by card payment, I was told to my surprise that the payment is only possible by cash or by Paypal. Fortunately, I had enough cash with me. I openly imagine a relaxed stay differently.
The food is excellent and the staff very attentive, friendly and fast. I've been here several times.
Very delicious food, everything went very fast, service was perfect, we like to come back.
