Contribuiți la feedbackOMG this is my favorite new restaurant. I had sushi and curry, it was awesome. Curry was a little on the thin liquid side and I prefer mine thicker but it was delicious just the same. Servers very warm and friendly. Restaurant was decorated very nicelyand was totally comfortable. They also had some outdoor seating. There is some street parking or you can go to a downtownparking garage and walk there and enjoy the scenic downtown area.
The Thai Donuts were delicious, even though I didn't get them with chocolate. They are perfect for sharing with friends as they are quite large and there are five in an order. I ordered the spicy chicken Thai noodles and requested them to be made as level eight Thaispicy, and they were excellent and as spicy as I wanted. The mixed vegetables were tasty from the vegetarian menu. The spring rolls and basil rolls were both very good, although I preferred the basil rolls. I wasn't a fan of the sauce that came with the spring rolls, but the one with the basil rolls was excellent. It took about 20 minutes from when I placed my order to receive my food to go, which I was pleased with. I had water, green tea, and a Thai donut while waiting. The atmosphere is nice, parking can be challenging after 6:30, but there are usually plenty of spots before that time. The waitress was friendly and efficient. I saw numerous dishes being served, and they all looked amazing. I will definitely return to try more dishes.
The sushi at this restaurant was good but not exceptional. The crab wontons had a unique curry flavor and were tasty. However, overall the food was fresh but lacked flavor. Both my husband and I agreed that something was lacking in the dishes we tried, including the spicy rolls which were not spicy at all.
The price and packaging of my recent order from this restaurant has me reconsidering ordering from them again in the future. The Tom Kha soup was served in a typical to-go container that was only half full, and the additional dipping sauce that was pictured as costing $3 was also only half full - when it would typically cost 70 cents at other places. There was no evidence of spillage, so it seems like this was intentional. I give them 2 stars because the food was correct and had good flavor, but I don't feel like I got my money's worth.
Spice Station had great lunch deals and a rather large menu. The sushi menu was rather small and not very unique. The sushi rolls and side salad were definitely smaller portions than normal and they were far from the best Japanese food I?ve tasted. However, the service was quick and the prices were relatively cheap. I ordered the Mexican roll and the Jalapeño Salmon roll.
