Shaner's Pizza Gulf Gate Sarasota

Some of the most delicious thin crust pizza I?ve had in a long time. Kruste was very tasty and crispy. Cheese was excellent and sauce compliment it all well. Everything came out quickly even though they were busy. Will definitely be back!

Never fails. It is your local hometown pizza and tavern feel every time you visit. The pizza is as good as possible every time. Staff treat you like Cheers. If you want to feel a hometown and buy GREAT food stop. You can see that Shane is also sitting there. He's always there and clearly has his hands on the pulse along with Pete and the others. Don't miss this, a great local find. (If only he had stayed with the Yankees)

We love this place and go there every time we are in Sarasota until our visit on 10/30. There were 4 of us and we ordered pizza to go together and tell them we were together. They told us 20 25 minutes. We came back at 25 minutes and our friends pizza was ready, ours came up. 15 minutes later our pizza was finally ready. We opened the box and there was no pepperoni. The manager came by and said I'd give you $1.50, which is what the pepperoni cost. I said no, I wanted what I ordered, you can't add pepperoni or give it back, and our friends pizza was now cold, so we asked that they warm up theirs or moisten them again. He said I don't give S. I don't make pizza. He didn't care that her pizza was already cold and when he made us back, it would be really cold. We finally convinced him to return our money. I couldn't believe how rude he was and wasn't ready to work with us. We're not going back.

Wow! Now we can never get pizza from anywhere else! The Shane's special pizza was so tasteful and delish. We enjoyed the very thin crust. We'll go back next week and bring friends!! I hope we have the same amazing experience.

Nice place. Ultra thin crust pizza some may like. Had the chicken parn dinner. I actually loved it! Great sauce and great chicken!
