Shakespeare's Craft Beer And Gastro Pub

Quaint, old-style pub with a wide selection of beer and over-and-beyond bar food! Their homemade onion rings are incredibly well made with a thick but not overwhelming, coat of batter and onion that do not slip out when you take a bite. The crispness of this appetizer was absolutely indicative of its freshness, and it came perfectly hot. For my Entrée I had the Portobello sandwich that I marined a bit overwhelmingly with balsamika, but appreciated how well the mushroom was cooked and how it balanced with pepper Jack cheese. It came with a wonderfully thick slice of tomatoes and a perfect ratio of onion. The side of the frits (or chips if you want) was crispy and light, and do not get soggy or lose their sharpness during the meal. Wait staff was incredibly personal and friendly, and the beer selection is surprisingly givin it size. Very impressive!

Great spot. Great selection of craft beer with a beautiful full bar. The Black and Blue burger that I had was so juicy! I am looking forward to going back! It also helps that the draft beer comes in 20 ounce pours!

Two days after Hurricane Ian we're in a packed Shakespeare's. It has a really pub like feeling and a variety of beer, both on tape and in bottle of wine also for those who prefer it. Despite the revival, the employees were at the top of things, pleasant, efficient and helpful. We ate beautiful salads with a considerable part of the spoiled Mahi. Pretty and tasty. We ordered a page is Pommes aka Chips). It wasn't our first visit. In the past, we thought burgers, fish and chips best in town my husband thinks and enjoyed more. There are outdoor seats and inside. Great place!

Great local culinary experience! That was the first time my wife and I had eaten here, and we definitely go back! I thought I'd get a burger, but after seeing the amazing line of chicken sandwiches, I settled on the Hawaiian chicken. It was amazing! Very humid, bread was perfect, and I ate the whole thing! My wife said the Fish n chips were the best they ever had. We finished the meal with the bread pudding a little denser than some, but still very, very delicious! The waiting staff was cold, covered and made us feel at home. Do not regret trying this local treasure!

Fun atmosphere, good food and friendly staff, although they were very busy. Good selection of beers on ****. The burgers are phenomenal here. Whatever you get, you also get a page of the heirs, you will not be disappointed.
