Island Gluten Free Bakery - Sarasota

I would recommend Island Gluten Free to anyone who has gluten problems. I didn't try everything they had to offer, and they have a bit, actually. But what I tried, I really liked. The pumpkin cake was good, like the French bread and the cookies I tried. They are also very nice and helpful. So it is a simple business to try and support.

This is the best gluten-free bakery I have ever visited. The ingredients used are high quality. The owners are very helpful to explain everything. I live in NY and nothing back home compares with their bread and bakery. Great work island gluten free bakery!!

Your pizza is delicious. The bread is as good as any gluten bread you can wish. My daughter never had gluten bread and was only moderately happy with this bread, but I think it's because it had a kind of acidic taste as per a gluten bread with yeast. We appreciate it's not sweet. We had the lime cake and it's good... 3.5 out of 5. I think that low-quality lime cakes are loaded with sugar and have an overwhelming sweetness. This was pretty sweet, not as bad as many and the crust and creamy topping type balanced, but the key lime filling was pretty dang sweet. Nevertheless, it tasted good and had the right amount of key lime flavor. It's great to go to a bakery and know that you can buy everything! Oh, another... the ingredients list on the bread is good. Only when there are red flags. We were happy with our baked goods!

My wife and I are both gluten free and the baked goods in this store are phenomenal. We use the pizza dishes to make wonderful homemade pizzas. All I tried was top-notch. Many of the restaurants use their product because the quality is so high. I recommend them to anyone looking for great gluten-free products. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

My family vacations in the area once or twice per year for the last 5 years. All products are amazing. My relatives who have vacationed with us, and who are not gluten free, LOVE this place. Everything we've had is terrific, including the bread, but my favorite is the cinnamon roll and my wife loves the scones.
