Evoq - Sarasota

We decided to go to the hotels restaurant EVOQ, the staff didn?t seem friendly to us, it almost seemed the whole time like we were a bother to host and the waiter that was attending us. He was not friendly and seemed annoyed to be working and attending us. We never got refills, didn't even ask if we liked our food. When we got our food it was very small portions. I ordered the crab mac and cheese which was almost $30 for one little scoop on crab mac what barely filled the bowl, not filling for a dinner plate for the price we paid and on top of that my plate was completely cold when served. I've never had cold crab mac and cheese. The food looked like it was already pre-prepped, like they put a scoop on a plate and just microwaved it. The overpriced restaurant was terrible quality of food and service they claim to offer. The food tasted like something I can make at home, I was shocked because they claimed to have 20 years of experience in making food...Highy do not recommend and would never come back.

Delicious breakfast I had the Tampa Cuban and it was super fresh and tasty. They made special off menu egg white omelette to accommodate my picky daughter and it was nothing short of perfect. My wife had the traditional breakfast and the food quality just superb! The French toast was to die for almond and chia blend drizzled with coconut flakes yummy. unut Great service please don?t miss out enjoying breakfast here just awesomely delicious!!!

Their breakfast is great! Highly recommend the antioxidant omelet and the melon turmeric pressed juice! It?s super, coffee is fresh, service is a delight. We had Rose the second day we were there and she was the best! We felt welcomed and appreciated. i?ll def be back to stay and for breakfast

Didn't get to utilize most of the place . But of what I did very nice place. Side note bathroom door was hard close, could be just my room. And no parking but valet in garage.

Service was good,food was delicious but the grouper was a little salty. Would have been perfect with half as much salt.
