It was not unusually busy and we sat outside, which was on the cool side, but there were everywhere heating scattered. really beautiful outside space and we were taken care of immediately. expected another type of high-time soup with meatballs, but more with sausage and vegetables. was already in brio several times and it is a great restaurant in the utc mall.

Eating was okay. it took a while until the service had first engagement. calamari was on the small side and our kitty salads. mushroom ravioli was a big hit entres were good. $200 for a table of 4 without alcohol.

Service was extremely bad, very slow. ordered a bottle of wine and waiter opened and poured it before they show us the bottle. we all drank one swallow and it was disgusting so we looked at the label. she had opened the wrong bottle. When that happened, we had waited so long that we just drank it. when we mentioned that she had opened the wrong bottle, her answer was simply that she wasn't sure what I asked? she has not apologized or offered to bring the orders we ordered. for the whole evening she looked like she really didn't care about us or the service. we will not be back.

Great place if you want to feel it's a special night out. Good food, nice decor ambience.

After waiting about 10-15 minutes, our drink order was taken. Drinks were delivered and then we were told that we could only order soup, salad and flatbread due to a gas issue. We were not told about this issue when we checked in at the desk. We ordered what we could. The flatbread was awful. Shame on Brio for not telling us prior to sitting us down. We will not be returning.
