Beckham's Sarasota Grill

We discovered a charming little bar off S Tamiami Trail. We visited on a Friday evening and had to wait about 30 minutes for regular seating, but since the bar area had some open seats, we decided to order there instead. I started with the stuffed jalapeños, which were served hot and fresh. They had a crispy bacon coating and a gooey mozzarella filling that was delicious. For my main course, I chose the Hawaiian burger, and it was fantastic. It was cooked to perfection and topped with two grilled pineapple slices, lettuce, tomato, and onion, with barbecue sauce served on the side. I give it two thumbs up! My wife ordered the cheese steak and found it tasty, though she said it wasn’t the best she’s ever had. Both of our main dishes came with crispy steak fries and a pickle spear. Normally, I’m not a fan of thick-cut steak fries because they can lack exterior crispness, but these were cooked just right. The service was a bit slow, likely due to the busy atmosphere, but the bartender did an excellent job juggling the drink orders for both the wait staff and bar guests. Overall, we enjoyed good food and service.

Awesome fresh food and almost anything on the menu can be made Gluten free! Not like a chain at all. Very nice service always. Eddie, our waiter tonight just great! Love this place (amazing wings)

AMAZING gluten-free options. I had the gluten-free fish and chips. Absolutely outstanding. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. The espresso martini was very good, too! Can not wait to go back.
