Wine was incredibly good value. It gets very busy at the weekend so probably best to avoid then. Great location.
Had hoped for better and maybe shouldn't have ordered one of the standard menu del dia choices. The prawns were tiny and after deshelling there wasn't enough meat to matter. Service was good. Fruit served at end was a simple apple. Odd but in line with the other fare.
Santiago de Compostela offers great bares y and restos If you look for great pulpo, this is One of the Best Among other great dishes I would recommend as well their spanish omelette, brilliamt The wine? A cold Ribeiro Service fast&pro price great
This restaurant, which as we see in the awning is the house of the good octopus, says it is one of the best pulpits of santiago de compostela, besides being the oldest. the look is old tasca, so if it's still open, it's because they offer good food at a good price, as we check to receive the first dishes. if we don't get scared by the look of the inside, or we have good time to be on the terrace, we can enjoy delicacies. the octopus to the Galician 9,95€ is one of the specialties, well prepared and cheaper than in other restaurants of the area. the mixed salad 4,95€ is also very abundant. also have menu with 3 dishes plus salad at 10,75€. The bills will see how they keep doing the old oath, writing at the bar. The only bad thing about the restaurant is the bathroom, since there is only one and it is very old. Furthermore, a typical Galician restaurant where to eat well at good price, something difficult to find in santiago.
We just visited the place because of the advise of some friends. I guess since the last time they come the rations have been reduced because after one soup each one, one and a half pulpo, shells, meat and the dessert we are still hungry. Good flavour anyway
