Contribuiți la feedbackLovely evening meal with my daughter at Mazarelos. We had octopus first time and very good), patatas bravas and croquettes. Food was delicious and the white wine very moreish! The owner was very friendly and works very hard!
This is the first time eating at this cafe bar and the overall experience was very good! The sandwiches were very good and service was average! They had an outside seating. The cafe is located in old town center.
In a town awash with sidewalk cafe/bars, we chose Mazarelos because of the mesero Alejandro, who welcomed us at the door as if we were his favorite grandparents. Once inside this immaculate cafe we encountered the other 2/3 of the hardworking staff, a friendly barman and a talented and gracious chef. Busy as they were, each of them found time and energy to attend to us with genuine smiles and entertaining small talk. Drinks came with tasty, creative and generous free tapas, and our dinner was ample to share. Try the pimientos del padrón (in season), a plateful of savory roasted peppers. Warning: some are hot, some are not. I thought the skinny ones were safe, but don't rely on me; I might have been under the influence of the warm atmosphere and the chilled Albariño.
Very cozy restaurant, with a small terrace and ideal to disconnect. the very friendly and attentive staff, we feel at home.
We asked for a lunch menu. We asked for a first-hand skirt salad that for my surprise was very rich. the falafels were tasty and the tomato and avocado were very good. from second a carnut wok with vegetables and tofu, which was good but not to launch rockets. what I got was the carrot cake, which I found very good, very juicy and very rich. In the menu price comes in coffee, they have vegetable milk that made me have a coffee with soy milk. The waitress was very nice, the problem is that when we went to pay they told us they didn't accept cards when they didn't put it anywhere so we lived a little uncomfortable. Everything else is fine!
