Marieta's - Santee

They win two stars because it was good to eat. we took my sister here for her conclusion (we love to try new Mexican restaurants around san diego because they are really the best.) we were all dressed for the occasion and he flirted with her all the time. he always came to our table to chew them on the back, grinned them, interrupted our talks, etc. She was slaughtered and even asked if he came back? He cut my fiancée every time he said something, and the rest of the time did as if we were not even there. He kept forgetting our food and we went before everything came because it was. he even embraced my sister and tried to get her number before we're gone. big? sis didn't say much when we were there, but she was disgusting. we all felt super slaughtered all the time and will never go back. totally ruined. that's a shame. because as I said, eating is pretty good.

Everyone was very nice and accommodating except for an older waiter who wore a mask and was exceptionally grumpy! he made it very obvious that everything we demanded (water, more chips, etc. was a great hard for him.? I was told by the woman I fed with, eating there regularly that he is always what I find very discouraging! Otherwise, eating was very good and the prices on the lunch menu were reasonable! will definitely eat there again, but will ask for another waiter. ?

Marieta is the bomb! the best Mexican restaurant in santee, that is a real thing! faster service and tasty eating and very good drinks. highly recommended.

We had dinner tonight. the ordered margaritas and they gave us a glass limade and accused us for a margarita. we asked for additional chips and salsa and calculated us $5.00 for each order ($10.00) chips and salsa are free. our food took an hour to be served.

This has been a family favorite for literally decades but we've all noticed an intense decrease in service and food quality. It's not the same. Lots of new staff and lack of attention.
