Cafe Zella - Santa Monica

I always order the chicken sandwich and a matcha with boba. My friend tried the protein salad and really liked it. I recommend this place for a quick bite; I think they open early in the morning.

This café is a true gem, featuring a diverse array of healthy and deliciously prepared dishes. The owners, hailing from South Asia, incorporate some of their vibrant flavors into the menu. The atmosphere is comfortable, friendly, and peaceful—perfect for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. The owners genuinely embrace a sense of community, and their hardworking staff makes every visit a pleasure. Cafe Zella is truly a neighborhood treasure. I adore this place; it feels like my second home!

Absolutely avoid this place! Our office spent over $120 on food and left a $19 tip, but we didn't receive any napkins or utensils. We ordered fries, not ketchup! The food was not fresh, and the fries were cold. The service was terrible, and when we brought our concerns to the owner, no real compensation was offered. This is unacceptable. If I could give negative stars, I would!

This is my visit when I work for a great lunch, coffee, pastries! Cafe Zella is proud to serve their customers to make you feel like you? a part of their family. I'm just sitting here to finish a delicious apple sausage omelet for my late lunch! Yummers! I'm usually a fan of Quinoa and beet salad? I thought I'd change it today. Try her biscuits and muffins? also re yummy. Please support this local, fresh, dedicated business.

This used to be my absolute favorite place ever but after recently getting sick and seeing what I saw I don?t think I can ever go back. I always ordered their salads and paninis however recently the food seemed to be passed it?s expiration date and they didn?t offer a refund after I notified them. I also saw that they have rats, you can see the rats running around throughout all of the outside seating and it wasn?t just one there was two so you can imagine how many more there were. I was extremely appalled and grossed out.
