Il Delfino - SANTA MARINA SALINA

We were in a excursion with Amici Del Eoli and they recommended this restaurant. What a surprise! Really good food and a desert to die for: Setteveli cake.

We stayed at this restaurant with rooms for 3 nights. It was amazing. The rooms themselves were quite basic, but clean and with air conditioning. They all had lovely balconies with lovely views. We hadn't planned on eating in the restaurant every night but we did because the food was so delicious. Above all though the staff were so lovely and helpful and accommodating. What a lovely find! We will definitely be back!

Ristorante Il Defino is a lovely restaurant in a stunning location on the foreshore of Santa Marina on Selina Island. I ordered Swordfish, simply grilled. It was perfect. This was the freshest, most delicious fish I had during a month in southern Italy and Sicily. The Caponata was also excellent and the house wine superb. The place appears to be run by a young couple or maybe siblings. They are both friendly and professional. Lovely décor and very clean throughout. It was mid-afternoon and we had missed their lunch rush but the service was excellent none-the-less. We were a group of 8 walk-ins and that was not trouble at all – we were made to feel most welcome and everyone enjoyed their meal. We happily sat indoors but they have lots of outdoor seating as well. Highly recommended. PS. It is also excellent value for money

Amazing dishes here. professional service, fresh high quality products, plus a beautiful view. Do not miss the divine otopus and tomato starter, then homemade pasta variations. I find here a co-star evaluation hard to believe, according to one of the most memorable, tasty meal I've ever had. many thanks to delfino.

We ate six first or second all great! very good the girl who served us compliments! Good!
