Falafel House - Santa Cruz

Great spot for a quick meal! I highly recommend it. We ordered the special combination plate with lamb, the chicken shawarma plate, and the falafel salad, and everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the hummus that came with the combo plate.

We tried three different dishes and I sampled a bit of each. Everything was very fresh and served quickly.

Prices are relatively low, but portions are small too. It's not that bad though, helps to not overeat. Babaganoush tasted great, hummus was disappointing, falafel are cut in half so really not too many of them on a plate.

It was my first experience with this type of cuisine, and I really enjoyed my sandwich. The person I was with ordered the chicken combo plate along with their sandwich. I tasted their chicken and another type of meat (I’m not sure what it was), but both were delicious. We will definitely be back!
