Las Galeras Village

We had such a wonderful time, a perfect service that organized our expectations, very beautiful, communicative and well. We have a magnificent view of the sea from the roof terrace, a very comfortable room, delicious Italian cuisine and fantastic peaceful and clean nature around the entire square. Great place to be on holiday if you want to visit other places in Samaná, or just chill by the pool and watch the countryside.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The units were nice; clean, spacious and comfortable! The location is absolutely beautiful you have a beautiful view when you go up the hill. The pool is also beautiful. There is drinking water in the plant. In the kitchen they have most needs including mixers and sandwich manufacturers... but no kettle or microwave oven). Note that you need to pay $10 USD to clean your rooms, but they do an excellent job. What I didn't like was that she wouldn't have a toilet paper/shampoo next to what was there on the first day that wouldn't last long. You pay a nightly fee, which means that this should be available. They also charge for new bed linen/ towels. I understand that they want to be environmentally friendly, but this is not the way to go. Also you can not pay with card only cash and PayPal... And they try to charge you for PayPal fees).

This place has such an amazing potential. In the begining we were really excited about our vacation in Las Galeras Village. But in a closer look, it became a nightmare. The jacuzzi on the roof twice didnnt work and in the third time, there were no hot water. The pool was dirty and needs a deep cleaning. The beds were awful! The kitchen was missing alot of facilities... this place saw better days. Won't come back!
