Altos De Caño Hondo

I loved this place! It was as if you were in the middle of the mountains, waterfalls everywhere, magnificent landscape, pebbles, all natural! I really felt in peace. I've never seen the rooms that were so good. It is a cabin really, the same room was so large that it was divided into two by a wooden staircase, a bed on the floor, top as well. I and my wife decided to sleep on the upper bed and it was surprisingly more comfortable. It serves breakfast lunch and dinner. The light “case” is really that you can only eat what they have in the restaurant and the small menu is the same for everyday life if you stay a few nights, maybe plan to eat lavish snacks or indestructible foods because there is no other place nearby. Overall we had an amazing experience, definitely will recommend friends family.

Amazing unique location, natural pools and beautiful landscape a few things: road here is basically not present, we took a car, but should avoid vehicles that do not deal with a mud trail any ATM anywhere nearby, bring cash for excursions, tips, etc take an excursion or two!! Guide is unbelievable and so landscape the two hotels are connected, honestly not sure why they consider it two, but I think this had more beautiful views, you can have amenities from both of the

We went there on may it was amazing, the rooms are customized and named after some of the endemic birds that live within the project; the view from our room was a such a perfect landscape to watch the sunset/rise . Food was delicious! we purchased Los Haitises tour spectacular view on the way from the mangroves to the Taino caves I’m going back oh yeah.

Difficult to get there (horrible road), but definitely worth it! It was a magical place. We loved hearing great music that was in the restaurant at most times. We went to our honeymoon and they gave us a great Catalan caval to celebrate it! Great food and people. Unbelievable natural pools. We would definitely come back despite the road and we would have stayed longer!

This place is cool. Jungle sounds. Hammock in your room. 5 min from the national park. Fresh swimming pools. We really liked this picturesque lodge.
