Sam's by the Beach - Santa Ana

Sam and his partner Jean-Michele create a special experience at each occasion. we were there for private events, our own private party and many dinners. never disappointed. eating is fresh and tasty, the wine menu is sturdy and good price, and the specialties are inventive.

Eating Thanksgiving dinner in a restaurant seemed very strange to us, but when we visited in the city family it was the best option and fortunately we found ourselves at sams on the beach! the staff let us feel like we were eating in a friendly house, they were funny, courteous and so friendly! sam is amazing to say hello to everyone, bussing table and serve dinner, and jean michel, our server, is a precious stone, offers fun entertainment and the selection of the perfect wein for our meal. that was extraordinary and we couldn't ask for a better Thanksgiving out. we recommend all sams on the beach!

Quiet, comfortable, friendly, efficient but non-intrusive service. Lots of interesting menu choices. Fair prices and an interesting, well priced wine list. Full bar for those that care. But parking is tough, and the valet costs $11.

Food was absolutely amazing. Sam the owner was nothing shy of charming, charismatic and authentic. Definitely will be back!
