Calabra - Santa Ana

This is a good spot to meet up with friends. The food is delicious. However, some of the seating arrangements are not the best for dining. The service could use some improvement - it was very slow and inattentive. I had to actively seek out my waiter to get my check.

We has sophisticated guests from New York and everyone absolutely loved it. The only down side was it was cold and the restaurant is in the roof of The Proper hotel. Regardless of being cold the maitre d happily provided us with blankets and all was good. Great food, great people watching , highly recommended.

Adrian was great! Food was excellent, especially the whole branzino.

Our first time at the Proper Hotel in Santa Monica which makes for a beautiful entrance. This continued outdoors for lunch on a warm, breezy afternoon. The Mezze was excellent as was the friendly, efficient service. Overall a high end feeling to this experience.

A must go to spot in Santa Monica. Food was outstanding, the service and ambience were great.
