Buonforno - San Miguel de Allende

Let them not fool them, as this bakery is fantastic. it was so good that I would get my morning exercise in buonforno. my friends were so excited when I made such a delicious selection of baked and brot.

They love the personal, very friendly, will work with their limited spanish, and serve wonderful bread and pastries. almost always a short line of customers and right next door is a beautiful caffe to breakfast and lunch, rinconcita guanajuato.

I live less than a block of here and I probably buy every other day a brot or another joy. everything is fresh and wonderful and they always welcome you with a happy greeting...can't see that smile because of the masks, but. You know they smile.

This is a great find if we want good bread and danishes to take home, but also a wonderful place to stop and have a coffee or hot chocolate with a treat. There is also wonderful art surrounding you, as every good café should have....Though seating is limited, we always found a place.

The mandel croissants rival that they will find in france. and the atmosphere is cozy with beautiful art on the walls.
