Raku Ramen - San Luis Obispo

Amazing Tonkotsu ramen. Can be busy, but they are good at keeping it moving. Reasonable prices for the awesome quality.

We dine here and very disappointed. We ordered Bento it’s tricky price( 1 Bento$9 included rice and steam veggies extra charge the salmon, tonkatsu and ramen(the ramen like a glue, not a soup ramen and no flavor. .

Stopped by here on the way home from a camping trip. Staff was super friendly, menu had lots of variety, prices were right, they had outdoor seating which was dog friendly, and the food was tasty. You order at a digital kiosk but can also do so at the register if paying in cash. Food arrived very quickly. I order a small tonkotsu ramen, small chashu bowl, and gyoza. The small tonkotsu bowl was actually larger than I thought so I took my chashu bowl home. The ramen was good. The broth wasn't too heavy or salty which made it a perfect afternoon lunch. The gyoza was pan fried perfectly with a delectable lattice crisp. The chashu bowl though, probably one of the tastiest chashu bowls I've had. Wish I ordered a large to go. Perfect seasoning and amount of meat. Pork belly was juicy and cubed into small bites sizes so you got a good mouthful every time. Overall, a nice Raku Ramen was a nice surprise stop on our trip but a welcomed one.

Terrible experience! The ramen tastes fake and bad! There were so many FLIES flying around all tables, and they even got on to our food. We called the manager, but she said she could do nothing to the fly. Flies on my coffee cup!!!

Came here during a road trip to LA. Eating in the car so we decided not to order ramen. I got the chicken teriyaki and my friend got the beef curry. Price was ok but the chicken looked quite dry and not grilled like a teriyaki chicken usually is, tasted decent mainly because of the sauce. My friend said his curry tasted good. They also give you a choice of steamed vegetables or salad with the meal. ORDER THE SALAD. My veggies were very firm and unseasoned while the salad was actually pretty good with thinly shaved cabbage and sesame dressing. We also tried to order takeout on the phone but they said they do not accept phone takeout orders and we had to order through the online hub. Overall, the food was ok, we were both pretty hungry so we put up with the quality of the food.
