Contribuiți la feedbackThis place is ideal for after-dinner desserts. Though the price is a little steep, The quality and taste of the crepes make up for it, not to mention the ambiance. It reminds me of small, quaint and classy restaurants abroad. Do order their best sellers, especially those that has fruits on it. They also serve meals but I would prefer to have desserts here where you can share with friends.
Just ate here last night with my husband and in laws and we all ordered our own dessert crepes, everything from the salted caramel version to the churros version to the banana-nutella version, as well as the Angelina hot chocolate. Crepes are yummy enough but a bit on the pricey side and the crepe itself was not at all light or airy. They were served thick and seemed to be a bit undercooked, although my husband did not notice this. The interiors leave you wishing you were really in Paris instead as everything was decorated to look like creperie or a patisserie, but I also noticed that the interiors were in need of an update as there are obvious signs of wear and tear. But I think everything I mentioned already was fine and could be overlooked, before we asked to pay our bill. My mother in law right away brought out her senior card as well as her credit card to settle the check. However, after some 10 or so minutes, our server/cashier just went to our table and said (in Tagalog) "Ma'am your card is declined. We already tried multiple times and t is still being declined. So it's cash only." Of course my mother in law said "Well what if I did not bring enough cash and I only had a credit card?" The server/cashier just shrugged and said nothing. In my head I imagined it could NOT possibly be a problem with her card more than it is a problem with their credit card machine, or the connection of that machine. The turnoff is that the cashier literally left the card on the table waiting for us to cough up enough cash to pay the bill, then walked away. She did not apologize for this inconvenience nor did she show any remorse regarding this situation.Luckily my mother in law did have cash on hand (as did we) and this settled the matter, however, when the server/cashier did hand us our change, she again just left the billfold on the table dismissively and said 'Thank you Ma'am' without even looking at us.For a place that is not even on the cheap side and obviously caters to higher end guests. service should be at par. Sad to say this was not the case. I won't be back. Too bad this was my first time there.
This place truly is a hidden gem. It was rated in the top 10 breakfast places in Manila, so we had to try it out. It really is that good.We had the crepes (which are all gluten free, since I am gluten intolerant), and they were large, delicious, and beautifully made. There are quite a variety of crepes to choose from, and their menu is online, so you can come prepared. As I said, the food was outstanding and the portions were large, however the prices were low. P300-400 for a luxurious meal big enough for two.I will definitely come back and heartily recommend this to others.
I eat here once a month. Love the salads and the spaghetti bolognese. Great crepes too! Wish it had more parking. But food and service wise along with price gives good overall value. I like the decor of the restaurant too. Solid 3.5-4 star rating.
Consistently excellent food. :)
