Kimpura Japanese Restaurant

We almost always come here to family celebrations. we have been here since the 1980s, and they still have the same kind staff Teppan kitchen that saw us grow up. teppan is of course a must, but they serve competent sushi and tempura, since...well food is however prepped for filipino diners.

7 of us came to lunch and had a mix of teppanyaki and tempura. While eating was quite delicious, in japan this last year eating a lot, this is not against the average Japanese high street restaurant. the portion sizes were...good and the service friendly, but it was extremely expensive for what we had.

Kimpura's new location in the greenhill shopping center was on the other side in one of the recently built buildings. located on the ground floor, it was still popular though seemed more crampy than the old layout. we sat on a regular table instead. the tepanyaki. the menu was no different from eating Japanese over sushi, noodles, bentons and of course served by the Tepanyaki grill. the service was fast, but the delivery was slow. the total food was good as we ordered the oldashi tofu, okonomiyaki, unagi bento and mango imitation crab salat. most expensive was the unagi and the largest and most filling was the okinomiyaki. it is beautiful, kimpura back in greenhills.

In the fan of kimpura, as I always eat here when I am in the metro makati twog, trinoma twog and san juan twog. but sad to say, in comparison to the other two. the second in san juan is not big we paid 6,000. as a total bill and yet the service was not so great. that was not cooked well, and the waiters were very rude I will come back? in no case

Great service, good sushi and great grillwork make this restaurant a value stop. Can be loaded on weekends, and you’ll leave smelling like food.
