Contribuiți la feedbackVery pleasant atmosphere and very good food .. and completed with beautiful old movie..we spend a very good night here.I had a nice experience by dining here with my husband. We were served quite quickly .. I stuck a nice thought in my mind related to this place.I will definitely return!
Lovely quiet courtyard with about 5 tables. The food was excellent. Try the Jamaica tea-it's unusual but very refreshing on a hot day. They have wifi and it's also an art gallery.
A small place as described by previous reviewers, we also found it during the Thursday night art walk. The service is friendly, the location is tranquil and the pizzas from the outdoor wood-fired oven were only surpassed by the flan which was also prepared in the wood-fired oven. Also one of the better salads we have had in SJdC. Wine selection, while limited, was good and reasonable.
Always great art. Fun back patio. Old movies with delis pizzas once a week. Has another gallery just opened in San Miquel de Allende.
Casa Dahlia is our favourite art gallery in San Jose. The owner Leah Porter is a wonderful painter in her own right but she also has a fantastic eye. Anyone on art walk should drop in. The shows changes, Leah is always happy to tell you about the art and the artist and its always a great experience. Behind the gallery is a lovely courtyard and on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings they have movie nights. The movies are old classics. You start with a nice salad followed by a series of slices of authentic Italian thin crust pizza followed by dessert. Hector the waiter is charming and unobtrusive. The experience was just wonderful. Our only regret is that it's not open for lunch anymore.
