Uproar Brewing Company - San Jose

I’ve tried to go here 3 times and they are never open. Hours are posted on door. 1 time no one was there, the other they came out and said they were having an unannounced private party, the 3rd time there were 3 people at the bar with doors still chained shut. Also they won’t fix their GPS address, it leads you to a door that they do not open and you have to walk around the building.

The beer and ambience were decent. Service left something to be desired. Staff wasn't super helpful/polite when I had a few questions on the menu.

Went to Uproar on a Friday night--it was completely empty. Not a good sign. When we went to order food and drinks, they were out of about 40% of what they had that evening. So, we purchased a Caesar salad and fries along with a beer and an alcohol pop. Food was meh. Service was meh. The alcohol pop was heinous. Come here to play games, avoid everything else.

A giant space that was completely empty in the middle of a weekend day. They had only a few of their own beers available. I don 't remember the appetizer we ordered; we had planned to order more, but left after the short guy with dark hair who works there addressed me in an extremely insulting manner. There is a brewery on site and I walked over to the doorway on one side to look in. There was I sign posted that said keep out so I did I just looked through the open doorway and never went past the sign. There was nothing at all going on in the brewery so I started to walk back to where I was sitting. The little guy who works there approached me and very aggressively demanded to know what I was doing. I said I was looking at their brewing setup. He replied we have a sign that says to keep out of there. I said I did I just looked in the doorway, I never passed the sign. He idiotically repeated we have a sign that says stay out if there. After a few back and forth attempts to try and understand how respecting the sign and not going in there was still a problem, I gave up, and we left. So he chased away the only customers that were there, and the place was empty again. Extremely weird experience. Don 't go there.

Kitchen staff are utterly incompetent. Ordered a chicken sandwich and it just never came out, even after asking about it twice. They could clearly see I still had my order number on the table and just chose to ignore it.Asked for a refund after 1.5+ hours which fortunately the bartender gave me. Two stars because the bartender was kind and apologetic and gave me a full refund.
