The Funny Farm Kitchen - San Jose

I ordered the classic patty melt, and unfortunately, it was quite average and a bit too salty for my taste. On the other hand, the poutine was really good. One aspect I didn’t like was having to order and pay at the counter beforehand. The point-of-sale system automatically adds an 18% tip even before you receive your food, which takes away any motivation for providing good service. Next time, I think I’ll opt to remove the automatic tip and leave a cash tip based on the actual service I receive.

This is a great spot for dining and catching up with friends. The Nashville hot chicken nuggets were cooked to perfection, with just the right kick of heat. They were generously seasoned, making them a bit messy to enjoy. The mocha was rich, strong, and absolutely delicious. The tater tots were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the portion size was substantial. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a top-notch experience. However, the wait for food was quite long, likely due to being understaffed. On a quirky note, there are stuffed animals displayed in jars—perhaps Sid from Toy Story has grown up and now owns this place. Parking: 3/5 Quality: 3/5 Customer Service: 2/5 Return Value: 4/5

This restaurant never disappoints! The food is consistently fantastic, and the service staff is exceptionally friendly. A special shout-out to Jazmine for making incredible smoothies every time! I would definitely recommend this place—10/10! Just a heads-up: this location does not serve alcohol; that's available at their other location. However, that doesn’t detract from the wonderful food or overall experience at all.

The atmosphere, food, and staff are amazing!!! Jasmine and Sharaz(sp? were super helpful and friendly. Service was quick and all the food was DELICIOUS! The decor is quirky, colorful, and fun. This is a must try!!

We had the best time at the Funny Farm Restaurant amazingly good food and completely good fun. It was the best start to a very rainy day.
