Rosie's New York Pizza - San Jose

This is my go-to pizza place. My kids can't get enough of the spaghetti. I think it's a family-run establishment, so I love supporting small businesses.

The food and service at this restaurant were both excellent. The parking situation is a bit inconvenient, but manageable.

I ordered chicken marsala at Rosie's, but I believe I was served chicken Milano instead. When the dish arrived at my table, the server referred to it as "pasta Milano" and when I clarified that I had ordered chicken marsala, he simply acknowledged my request with a casual response. Despite feeling too tired to argue, I couldn't shake the feeling that the dish wasn't what I had initially asked for. Although it didn't taste bad, the presence of sun-dried tomatoes in the dish was unexpected and unfamiliar to me in a traditional chicken marsala. Feeling weary from a long day at work, I ate some of the meal and took the rest home with me. While I didn't want to make a fuss, I left the restaurant slightly disappointed both in Rosie's and in myself.
